We're Austin and Ryan, and we're building This Too Shall Pass because the moment that stress hits is brutal. We want to show how we got about building this company while dealing with the stress that comes with goals and dreams just like other pursuing their goals and dreams might experience.
This is the real story of what we're building, why we started, and why we're inviting people into the process from the beginning.
WHERE IT STARTED
THE HARDEST PART OF CHASING SOMETHING BIG IS OFTEN THE PART NOBODY SEES.
Behind every meaningful goal are moments of pressure, doubt, frustration, and uncertainty. Those moments are common, but people rarely talk about them honestly. This Too Shall Pass began with the idea that those moments should not make people feel isolated. We wanted to create something that brings people together around the real experience of pursuing something meaningful—not only the polished outcome.
THE MEANING BEHIND THE NAME
THIS TOO SHALL PASS.
The name is a reminder that no moment lasts forever. Pressure changes. Setbacks become part of the story. Difficult seasons move forward. We are not pretending that hard moments are easy or promising that a product can solve everything. We are building a place where people can acknowledge the pressure, support one another, and keep taking the next step.

THE COMMUNITY ISN'T AN AUDIENCE. IT'S PART OF THE BUILD.
We could have developed everything privately and appeared only when there was something ready to sell. That is not the story we want to build. We are opening the process so members can see the decisions, experiments, progress, and setbacks—and contribute ideas along the way.
